1 Thessalonians 2:10-15

1 Thess 2:10: In this verse Paul attempts to emphasize

the need for others to witness a good testimony in our lives.

(2 Corinthians 1:12) (2 Corinthians 4:2)

(1 Timothy 1:5) (1 Tim 3:9) (1 Peter 3:16)

1 Thess 2:11: Paul mentions 3 characteristics of Christians which should be evident in their Lives.

ENCOURAGEMENT: “Believers are EXHORTED in scripture to do certain things”

1) Believers are exhorted to save themselves from this wicked generation.

(Acts 2:40)

2) Believers are exhorted to be of Good Cheer. (Acts 27:22)

3) Believers are to be exhorted to ensure

that their walk with God pleases God and in fact Abounds. (1 Thess 4:1)

In other words part of our ministry should be

to plead and beseech both with Believers and Unbelievers.
