THE NATION OF ISRAEL — WHAT GOD DONE FOR THEM.
1) God calls Israel His Vineyard. ( Isaiah 5:1 )

2) God indicates that he loves the Nation of Israel and Israel should love Him.

THE NATION OF ISRAEL — WHAT GOD EXPECTED FROM THEM.
1) God expected fruit from his vineyard Israel. ( Isaiah 5:2 ) “And he looked that it should bring forth grapes”
2) God expected commitment from his vineyard Israel. ( Isaiah 5:3 )
3) God expected Judgement and Justice from his vineyard Israel. ( Isaiah 5:7 )

THE NATION OF ISRAEL — WHAT GOD FINDS CONCERNING THEM.
1) God finds wild grapes — Instead of pure fruit from Israel. ( Isa 5:2 and 4 )
2) God finds oppression instead of righteousness. ( Isaiah 5:7 )
3) God finds cries of distress. ( Isa 5:7 ) “But behold a cry”
THE NATION OF ISRAEL — WHAT GOD WILL DO TO THEM.
1) God will take away Israel’s protection. ( Isa 5:5 )

MESSAGE 2:
Facts concerning the Nation of Israel
from ISAIAH CHAPTER 43:
1) God created Israel — ( Isa 43:1 ) ( Isa 43:7 ) ( Isa 43:15 )
2) God created and formed Israel FOR HIMSELF — ( Isa 43:1 ) ( Isa 43:21 )
3) God redeemed Israel — ( Isa 43:1 ) ( Isa 43:14 )
4) God called Israel by his Name. — ( Isa 43:1 ) ( Isa 43:7 )
5) God ransomed Israel — ( Isa 43:3 – 4 )
6) God made Israel Precious in his sight — ( Isa 43:4 )
7) God has made Israel honourable in his sight.
Even although most nations hate her. ( Isa 43:4 )
8) God loves Israel — ( Isa 43:4 )
9) God will regather Israel — ( Isa 43:5 – 6 )
10) God will allow all Nations to gather against Israel. ( Isa 43:9 )
11) God has made Israel his witnesses. ( Isa 43:10 ) ( Isa 43:12 )

GOD’S SUPERNATURAL PROTECTION OF ISRAEL
1) God promises to be with Israel when they go through deep waters. ( Isa 43:2 )
2) God promises to keep the waters from overwhelming Israel. ( Isa 43:2 )
3) God promises that Israel will not be burned by fire and flame. ( Isa 43:2 )
4) God promises that Israel is protected because they are in his hand. ( Isa 43:13 )
5) God promises that he will work on behalf of Israel. ( Isa 43:13 )
6) God promises that no man will be able to hinder Israel ( Isa 43:13 ) “And who shall let.”
7) God promises to destroy Israel’s enemies. ( Isa 43:14 – 17 )
8) God promises Israel that he will make a way in the wilderness and desert for them. ( Isa 43:19 )
9) God promises Israel that he will blot out their sin and remember it no more. ( Isa 43:25 )
10) God promises Israel that in him their is spiritual satisfaction as pictured by the waters. ( Isa 43:19 – 21)

9) Israel was to declare that there will never be another God come after the true God. ( Isa 43:10 )

10) Israel was to declare that there is no other Saviour beside Jehovah.
“And beside me there is no saviour” ( Isa 43:11 )
* The Christian is to declare that there is no other saviour apart from Christ
— See Acts 4:12 and John 14:6 etc *
11) Israel was to declare that Jehovah HAD SAVED THEM. ( Isa 43:12 )
“ The Christian is to witness to the fact they already been saved.”
12) Israel was to declare that Jehovah shows things and reveals things that strange god’s could not do. ( Isa 43:12 )
“And I have shown when there was no strange god among you”
* The Christian should also declare that before they were saved the false gods they used to follow were unable to answer their questions — But now they have been saved the true God has answered these questions and revealed much truth to them *
